[Plugin: Multilingual Press] Getting 404 Page Not Found Error on Translate

    So I’ve set up my multi-sites (first time) and followed the instructions to configure MP properly. I have 2 sites, one in English and the other in French and they are both interlinked. But, when I go on the English site and in the MP settings I click on Tranlsate to set up the French version and click Edit, I am given a 404 Page Not Found error.

    Are there other files I am supposed to be copying from the English site to the French site before I can do this?

    I think the 404 problems were due to a typo in my .htaccess. But now that I’ve fixed it, every time I try to add a French translation for my posts and click “Edit”, I get the following error:

    “You attempted to edit an item that doesn’t exist. Perhaps it was deleted?”

    Any help debugging this would be much appreciated.
