[Plugin: Multilingual Press] Exclude certain post types?

I want to move my English/German site to WordPress and use this plugin to achieve the multilingual feature. The site has a English only forum which is linked to from both language version. For the forum, I want to use bbpress. Can this be done with this plugin? As a possible solution, can both sites use certain post types of only one language version, instead of mirroring data on both language versions?
