[Plugin: Multi-Column Taxonomy List] Display only categories in a sub-category

Hi! Im trying to display only categories within a sub-category without having to manually exclude every single other category. Is there a way to do this?

For instance I have a category of recipes and under that category I have soups, salads, entrees….etc All I want to show in the list are the categories under recipes.
