[Plugin: MP3-jPlayer] Playlist player not working properly in Safari
-
As a composer and website designer for other composers, this plugin is perfect. Thank you for this.
But, it works great in Firefox, and only partially in any version of Safari. Here is the issue:
When I click on the ‘play’ icon, and then click on any song in the playlist, or use the forward/back navigation, it works fine. But, if I click on any song in the playlist first, or double-click, it will not start to play, and if I then click on the ‘play’ button, it will start to play that track, but I cannot play any other tracks. It highlights them, but other tracks do not un-highlight, and the player cannot be stopped unless I click the Right navigation button. In Firefox, I can double-click on any song in the playlist and it plays fine. At anytime I can click on another, use the nav, or do anything and it operates perfectly every time.
You can see what I mean at these two sites. https://www.steveruckermusic.com and https://www.dev.deangrinsfelder.com. Both of these themes are from Ghostpool, but they are different themes.
There same problem exists with all plugins off.
Thank you for any help you can offer. My industry, professional composer/producers in Los Angeles are 95% mac on Safari. This is a great player, and I’ve not found a better one, and I really need the html5 functionality.
I really hope we can find a solution!!
Thank you again.
