[Plugin: MP3-jPlayer] Playlist not shown and not playing

  • Hi,

    I installed the mp3j Player long back which was working fine.

    When I upgraded wordpress, my player got some problem automatically.
    It is broken(Only half of the player is visible), Playlist is not shown, play button does not work. Tried uninstalling it and then reinstalling. No improvement.

    Getting frustrated because of this problem.

    It would be great if you can help me with this.

    You’ve found a bug in the plugin, thank you.
    it’s because of the single quote in your site title which finds it’s way unescaped into a bit of js that holds the popout title.

    It’s fixed for next version (1.7.4), in the meantime you could replace the quote with & # 8217 ; (without the spaces) in your site title setting.

    Thanks for your help and the plugin works fine now.
    Strange that this small quote on the title could affect the functionality of a plugin.
