[Plugin: More Types] Create Post Type and Taxonomy Relationships?

Here’s the scenario:
2 post types:
1) Journals
2) Journal ArticlesIn the Journal Articles post type I want to be able to pick the journal it was published in; to be able to pick it from a journal entered in the Journals post type.
There’s really now way to do this with More Posts/Fields/Taxonomies.
The closest I’ve come is create both post types but leaving out the Title field for Journals. To create the pseudo-title I use a taxonomy called “Journals” (this taxonomy is then used in Journal Articles to pick a parent journal).
The problem begins when I want to show an individual permalink for the Journals post type, which also has other taxonomies assigned to it like Subjects and Courses. There ends up not being a title to use as a permalink because I took the title field out.
Does that make sense? Any ideas?
