[Plugin: MM Forms] Conflict with Event Calendar 3

  • Hi, I have MM Forms running beautifully on a magazine site but I’ve just found that it has a conflict with another plug-in Event Calendar 3. I have not been able to identify the exact file or function causing the conflict, but disabling MM Forms gets Event Calendar to work again.

    The issue that arises when both are enabled is that the AJAX refresh feature for the calendar display in Event Calendar breaks. Normally you should be able to click the next or previous month name and have the calendar refresh without a page load. This is what breaks when MM Forms is enabled. I’m guessing there’s some kind of AJAX function in MM Forms as well and the two are colliding for some reason.

    If anyone has some information on this or can suggest a work-around I’d appreciate it.

    Event Calendar 3 versions not working: current release 3.1 and 3.2 beta 2
    MM Forms version: 0.9.6b

    I should also mention that the scripts loaded into the head section are loading EC3 first and MM Forms last hence the reason EC3 breaks and MM Forms does not.
