Hello and thank you for your help. I am not a technical person by any means, so I will explain my problem as simply as possible.

    1. Started to create a new website. So not much added other than a handful of plug ins.
    1. WordPress for website was working.
    2. I download this plug in.
    3. I clicked “Activate”
    4. WordPress stops working by cutting off access to any part of my WP (like my dashboard, etc) and indicates that the connection to my website is not a secure. Also says that my website is not configured correctly.
    5. Admin log in credential fields indicated again that the connection is not secure.
    6. Now afraid to log in.
    7. Needs help.

    Thank you.

Please login via FTP/SFTP and delete or rename the plugin folder.

    Next, clear your browser cache.

Lastly, don’t activate this plugin again until you’ve installed SSL (HTTPS).

I’m in the same boat, how do I login via FTP/SFTP and delete or rename the plugin folder?
