• Hi!

wordpress 3.3.1 frontend and backend both came up with blank pages after activating the minimu plugin. The error_log reports “Allowed memory size of 71303168 bytes exhausted” in /wp-includes/formatting.php and /wp-includes/taxonomy.php

I had to manually delete the plugin directory to get my site working again … whew …

    Any ideas?
    Cheers,
    Alex

    Hi Alex,

Not sure what would be going on. I’ve only heard of memory problems when managing a lot (many hundreds) of domains with the plugin.
If that’s not your case, it might be a conflict with another plugin.
Is there anything out of the ordinary with your WP install/configuration?

    Cheers,
    Eric.

IMHO it is not a memory problem: I suppose the script generates an endless loop and this is causing the memory problem.

Well, “out of the ordinary” … I doubt that an “ordinary” WP installation exists (as long as it is not a real trivial site) …

should read “Events Calendar (Modern Tribe)” …

Problem is, I cannot deactivate most of the plugins, only those which don’t directly affect the content or the database (like “Cimy User Extra Fields” or “Custom Post Limits”) since this is a live site and I cannot shut it down.

Will try to replicate the problem on a test installation …

    Cheers,
    Alex

That’d be great – let me know if you’re able to narrow it down to something specific.

    https://vwat.org

I installed The Events Calendar (Modern Tribe) this morning.

I’m not seeing The Events Calendar on my events page. I have created two events and I can view these two events individually and when I view the calendar it takes me to the events page on my website but there’s no calendar or events appearing there.

I’m wondering if the issue is with my permalinks but I’m not really sure. When I check the settings I see that the Events URL slug is events-3.
When I check the settings I see that the Single Event URL slug is event.

If you have any ideas of why the calendar is not appearing that would be great.
    Thanks, Sandra
