Hi Paul, does the slideshow stop even when you are on the page the whole time, or just when you click away to another tab for a while and come back?

correct, it’s when I switch from another tab and back

Thanks for the info Paul, this is a bug with how jQuery Cycle is setup. I’m still working on figuring out what is causing it, but I’m hoping to include a fix for this in the next version of Meteor Slides.

I love the plugin — I use it on multiple sites:

    https://planfund.org/

    https://citysquarelegal.com/

    And others.

However, I have the same issue. It’s only a problem because my clients point it out and think that it’s some issue on my end. I’ve told them that it’s just their browsers and Internet connections, and not a problem with the code… but it would be ideal to have this “hiccup” not occur.

Sorry, hit send too early. for me, it also only occurs when I click away and come back. I don’t think I’ve ever seen it happen where I just load the page and it doesn’t scroll (except when the mouse is over the image).

Thank you for the great plugin. ?? I would really love to see a fix for this too – also mainly for my clients’ ease of mind!

    Hiho People.

    I’m having the same problem.

Note: I use wp coda slider plugin too but I tested it changing the slides and after few minutes the slider stops cycling.

    Att,
    Yuri
