That code looks correct, first thing I would check out is the slideshow you are trying to load on that page, “general”, confirm that the slug matches that slideshow.

You are also using that slideshow as the default, is it loading alright on pages that don’t have a slideshow specified?

The slideshow “general” works perfect on the pages that don′t have slideshow specified.

Ah, I think it is because “noticias” is your blog homepage. Even though it is technically a page, by setting it to your blog page WordPress considers it the blog home even if it isn’t the front page.

So instead of this bit here:

Try using the is_home tag instead:

elseif (is_home()){

Try using just the original template tag site wide without the conditionals, just to confirm that it will load on that page at all.

That’s very strange, could you share your whole header.php file on Pastebin so I can take a look?

One other thing I would try is deactivating your other plugins to test if this is a plugin conflict.

It′s a bug with qTranslate plug-in. I deactivated and now it works. But I don′t know how to fix it. Any suggestions
