[Plugin: Meteor Slides] pictures in one slide show = different sizes

  • Hello,
    I want to be sure this is normal.
    I have a slide show running with a few pics. One pic was a vertical image, which showed cropped to fit the size of the show (150 x 250). The other day I added one more slide (another veritcal shot) and now what I see is the full image of both vertical shots, but the rest are the correct size – fitting th 150×250 set up. So basically, the slideshow goes from one size pic to the vertical shots. (It didn’t crop like the first vertical pic added in the begining). Is this normally what happens with vertical and horizontal slide are in one slideshow?

    If the slide images are larger than the slideshow dimensions they should be cropped. Can you post a link so that I can see how it is working?

    sure. I dont mind the two sizes, I just don’t know if it looks a bit weird or if in fact there was some error (other than they weren’t cropped before). It was strange how one vertical slide cropped on its own.

    It doesn’t seem quite right, a couple of those images are 200px wide, but if you uploaded them after setting the slideshow width to 150px, they should have been cropped to that width. You could try uploading them again, but you will get the best results by prepping all the slide images to 250×150 before uploading them.

    which page u have problem.
    u have to set image size in css not in field where image is use.
    because u give image size larger then they have.

    I’ll try again. Some of the pics are in the post at around 600 x 425 and when they were added to the slide show, they fit into the 150 x 200 without cropping first. I’ll re do the larger ones – I think the px were around 700 – and see what happens. Thanks!

    OK, if you already had the images in your media library then they wouldn’t be sized to fit the slideshow, re-uploading them should help.
