[Plugin: Meteor Slides] Phantom spacing between images when using scrollVert

Hi,
Firstly, thank you very much for the use of this plug-in. I’m a novice when it comes to JQuery and CSS, so having a plugin like this is a real time-saver.
Everything works fine apart from when I set my slideshow to use the ‘scrollVert’ or ‘scrollHorz’ transitions, in which instance, white space appears between each image with every transition. By comparison, the scrollUp/Dwn transitions are seamless (i.e. no spacing between images). Is there somewhere in the CSS or JS that I can override this and remove the excess white space? I’ve been searching for hours and can’t find where. I’ve even tried to override my custom css by setting the id and class attributes to 0 margin and padding at the very end of the style sheet, but it doesn’t seem to work.
The site is currently in development within a protected directory, so you can’t see the live effect. As an alternative, here are some screen grabs:
