Hi archadmin, did you setup the size of your slides in the settings before you added your slides?

I checked out your site, but I didn’t see the slideshow, so I couldn’t take a look at the problem.

Hello JLeuze, I am very new at WP and I really like your plugin. The simplicity is just what I’ve been looking for; however, I’m having an issue with the images being cut off in the sidebar (widget). As suggested, I set the size in the settings area before uploading the images and have removed and uploaded several times but the issue persists. I upgraded to WP 3.0.1 and noticed that your plugin shows up under wp-content and there is no file for slides. I’m wondering if my images for the slideshow are uploading into the incorrect files. As mentioned earlier, I am very new at this and any assistance you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Barbette, thanks for trying my plugin. The images for the slides are managed through the WordPress media uploader, so they are stored with the rest of the images and other files you upload to WordPress, typically in the uploads folder.

If you set the size before uploading the images, they should be resized to those dimensions, but it is possible there is a conflict with your theme, what theme are you using?

Could you post a link to the site you are working on?

Hi JLeuze, Thanks for the quick response. As instructed, I set the size before uploading images (settings 247×189), deleted all of the images and reloaded a new one from my hard drive. As you can see (www.eternaljoi.com) the image is cut off and is not centered. The code is in a text widget – [meteor_slideshow] and the theme is Arjuna. Thanks for your assistance.

I took a look at the site you are working on Barbette. It looks like the slide dimensions are set to a height of 247px and a width of 189px. The image in your slideshow matches this size, it looks like the slides are in a portrait format when you maybe want a landscape format? Are you sure those are the correct dimensions?

JLeuze, Everything is working great. Thanks so much for your help. Have a great day.

    No problem at all.
