    Hi there,

Im currently in the progress of migrating my finished testsite to the new working site.

Im not sure, but I think the meteor slider DID auto-resize pictures on my test site.. but not, all of the sudden, it wont do that.

In stead it will cut out the given dimensions (375×570) .. but will not resize it.

Its not clear, I know. It will be if you do this:

1 – Go to my test site homepage here: https://www.rsdsgn.nl/karinnl/
2 – Click right mouse button on an slider image.
3 – Copy image location.. view it.

You will see the actual resized image in the url.

Do the same for the working site here: https://www dot karin dot nl/

You will get the FULL blown original image ??

This, isnt whats it supposed to do, right?
What went wrong in the migrating proces?

I already tried FTP 777, no luck

    Any help much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Ramzii, the images are shrinking for me on both sites. But this must be because the images were uploaded before you installed Meteor Slides, because when you upload a slide image, it crops that image to match the dimensions of the slideshow.

I would recommend sizing the images correctly in an image editor and then re-uploading them for the slides. Larger images will load slower and images that are shrunk in the browser can be lower quality.

That last part about larger images is what I was trying to prevent.
What I didnt know is that they needed to be re-uploaded!

Guess migrating them with the “WordPress Importer” created a loophole of some kind, allowing / resetting them to keep their original dimensions? I dont know, lol \o/

All I know is I deleted the existing images and re-uploaded them with the WordPress image uploaded… and they get resized again ?? (instead of the full blown original image)

Thanks, double thanks for the quick reply mate, cheers.
