Plugin messing up other Custom Post Types?

    Just wanted to say that I love this plugin – so simple to set up and use!

    But I’ve encountered an odd issue with it. I noticed after I’d set up the plugin that the pages for my other custom post types were no longer showing any content. When I uninstalled the Quick Event Manager, the content came back.

    Thinking I must have been mistaken, I reinstalled the plugin – and lost all my custom post content again! These custom post types have nothing to do with events – one is for services and another is for books, so I’m completely puzzled as to why this is happening.

    The content only disappears from the front-end – its still there in the backend. I don’t get any 404 errors for the custom post type pages, they just loose pretty much everything that’s within the loop. Changing back to the default theme doesn’t fix it either.

    Does this make any sense to anyone?!!

    I’d really like to continue to use Quick Event Manager, but obviously won’t be able to if I don’t find a solution to this…

  • The plugin creates a custom post type called ‘event’. If you have another custom post type called ‘event’ then yes there will be a conflict.

    But without know what custom posts you are creating there’s not much I can do to help. Can you email me you site details so I can take a look?
