[Plugin: Membership] Account/Register pages return 404 for logged in users

Love the plugin and would like to upgrade and use it eventually but during my testing it doesn’t seem to work properly.
I have followed the instructions, set up 1 subscription, and 1 level, activated them, enabled the plugin on the main settings page, assigned the pages (register/account/protected with the default shortcodes) and everything seems to work ok, until you sign up and log in.
Once you log in as a user, and visit the /account page the site returns a 404 not found error. If I am logged in as administrator, then the /account page works. If I am *not* logged in, then the /account page works (although displays nothing as expected since not logged in). So basically after someone signs up and logs in, they are not able to access the /account page or the /register page. both show up as 404.
Any suggestions? I have not created any custom shortcodes or changed any other settings.
