Members Only plugin worked fine before upgrade to WordPress 2.5. Now I get a headers already sent error for each page and it does not redirect to the login page (as configured). I have Members Only v0.4.2. I have tried disabling all other plugins, but that didn’t work either. Does anyone have a work-around for this?

  • I’ve just fixed this in the latest version (0.5). I changed where the plugin is called form wp_head which was causing the problem on some host, to template_redirect.

This latest version should fix the header issue for good.

Members Only works fine in my site (WP 2.5). The only problem is that I can not get the visiting member to be redirected to the wanted (main) page but it stays in the preset page where the member logs in.
The problems desapairs if I use the option the log in takes place in the original login page.

If I understand you correctly – you want to redirect non logged in users to the front page (the root) of your site rather than a specific page url?

I’ll have a look at how this would be done – but generally this wouldn’t be a desired behaviour.

Do you happen to have your WordPress site setup with the front page not being the posts page, and the posts page being somewhere else?

    Not really.
If you want to visit my blog: https://www.swed.info/wp_cast you get first to a specific login page that it is called https://www.swed.info/wp_cast//?page_id=2/ where you can either login or you can read that it is a member only site and how to apply for membership.
What I want is that members will go automatically to the original blog address when they have completed the log in instead of having to klick on the “home” option of the header.
A minor problem since its seems that users that have choosen the Remember option go straitght ahead to the blog. (I have just inactivated the plug in over the week end while a do some minor changes)
Thank you for a great plugin and for your interest.

Hello Hami, thank you for your plugin. My problem is that, once logged in, I land in the Profile page of the blog, not in the home page. I need to click on “Visit Site”. How I direct users to the home page after they log in?
    thank you
    miguel
