• Have briefly used Media Assistant to add Alt-tags & Titles to about 40-odd images recently added into 1 of our sites. Very handy just for that, thanks.

Am looking forward to the forthcoming Bulk Edit functions too. Great work, David.

What about adding the ability to export & import individual, selected or all media library images, along with assigned data such as Alt-tags, Titles, Description etc, so we can easily transfer media from 1 WP site to another using Media Assistant?

All the best with Fair Trade Judaica & its wonderful website too.

Thanks for the kind words and for your suggestion. The next release will have the bulk edit, and will also allow you to sort the listing on ALT Text, including those attachments which have no ALT Text.

Your export/import idea is a great one, and I will definitely consider it for future development. As you can imagine, it would require a significant amount of work and it will take some time to think through and do justice to.

All good, David. Nice to be listened to, both ways. ??

And I certainly CAN imagine it… looking forward to the next release.

BTW, does Fair Trade Judaica encourage affiliate sales processes online to its craftspeople/merchants/related organisations or does that clash with Fair Trade processes somehow?

    All the best, mate.

Thanks for the question about FTJ and affiliate marketing processes. There is no clash or conflict between thesse arrangements and Fair Trade. For example, we have an affiliate marketing partnership with Divine Chocolate for their new Fair Trade dark chocolate gelt. You can find more information about Fair Trade principles and criteria in the “Learn” section of our web site.

That’s great, David. Good reading, that.

But I was also wondering if we, as retail affiliate marketers ourselves, were able to access any of the Fair Trade Judaica products such as Divine Chocolate? As in any networks such as Shareasale.com etc?

Not that we as a small business have any spare time at the moment. However, we DO have a couple of confectionery/chocolate store projects on the drawing board for early 2013 that could do well to promote Fair Trade Chocolates.

Thanks for your question. So far, our experience has been that the transaction volumes for any one vendor are too low to make networks like Shareasale.com viable. Our Divine Chocolate partnership uses a “promo code” that customers enter during the checkout process; no middleman and no overhead required.

I’m happy to continue this dialog, but it’s not related to the plugin. Why don’t you go to the FTJ web site, pull down the “Our Story” menu and click on “Contact Us” to send me an e-mail. That way I can respond to you directly.

    Thanks for using the plugin!
