    When using the upload/insert functionality on posts to upload images there are a few issues:

    – The URL is wrong if the title is changed (I understand why, worth raising though as it affects the following)
    – If you click ‘Insert into Post’ the original URL is used not the one that happens after save, probably because it’s an AJAX save
    – If you hit ‘Save all changes’ before ‘Insert into post’ to avoid the above something strange happens where the normal slug is stored but the filename is renamed to slug-1 and they remain out of sync until manually being corrected (by renaming the file(s) manually)

    Other things I’ve noticed:
    – Sometimes the thumbnails are out of sync? They get referenced correct in the admin but the filename is the original from upload rather than adjusted, not sure whether this a WP quirk I’m unaware of or at fault of your plugin.. or even a feature. Not looked into this much as I’m not using the thumbnails.

    Other than that this plugin serves IMO a huge need.. image filenames are important, it all almost works perfect aside from these little niggles which would be great to see fixed!

    Thanks a lot for finding those bugs. I actually don’t use the upload/insert functionality, I directly upload my photos from Lightroom ?? Which is why I really appreciate this kind of feedback.

    I confirm the bugs you find while using upload/insert. But about the thumbnails, I use them and I didn’t notice anything wrong… mmm… or maybe it’s related to the bugs above?

    I have to look into this, I had many feedback on this plugin and this is probably the right time to remove those bugs. You’re not a developer by any chance? I’m actually looking for someone to help me from time to time, or at least a beta tester ??

    Hello Steve. I just released a new version of the plugin, it’s much better. The issues you had will not happen anymore, as it will NOT RENAME files while you are editing a post, but will do it later, safely, or if a renaming is required if will display so on the Media Manager and you will be able to click on “Rename”. The best is to rename everything in the Media Manager, always, but now I handle both cases and, more importantly, avoid the issues. Thanks for testing, and please start another thread if you have any issue ??
