    Hello Support!

I received an order for upgrading a website that was long without maintenance. The website has been upgraded from WP 4.7.23 to WP 6.3.2 with all the plugins, and theme updated.

Now we have an issue (that also was present before the upgrade) with the Subscription form to MailChimp done with your plugin.

The issue is that when a user tries to Submit the subscription from it throws the following error (shown in 2 images):

The error shown internally is also shown in the folowing image. And also the Form shows “NOT CONNECTED” when I try to Save Changes.

    The API-Key is recently created.

I’ve read in your documentation, that this error could be due to a server misconfiguration:

Mailchimp API key or MC4WP license not activating
When trying to activate a Mailchimp API or license key that you just know should be working, it can sometimes refuse to activate. In that case, one of two things could be happening:

The PHP cURL version of the server your website is hosted on is out of date. Solution: ask your host to update cURL to a more recent version.
Your host’s firewall is blocking SSL requests. Solution: ask them to allow SSL requests to api.mailchimp.com and mc4wp.com.

I contacted support from my server (https://raiolanetworks.es/) but they told me that from their side everything is running smoothly and that I should contact you or MailChimp.

Do you know how to solve the issue?

Do you need Access data? (How do I give you that without making it públic?)

    Thanks,

    Pere

On MC4WP > Mailchimp, when you click the “connect” button, it shows an error. Can you translate that error for me, what does it mean in English?

    Thanks for letting me know.

There is no “Connect” button, but one that says “Save Changes” (Guardar Cambios) right below the API Key field. Whenever you click that button it says in a red box this message: MailChimp Error: Validation error: “Campos de formulario no v\u00e1lidos”

Which means: “Form fields not valid”

    Is that what you meant?

    Thanks

It seems you are on a very old version of the MC4WP plugin. The latest version is 4.9.9. Please update the plugin and let us know if that solves the issue.
