[Plugin: MaxA/B] AdWords Traffic

  • This plugin appears to count inbound referral traffic from AdWords ads, which brings up the question – is this plugin compatible with landing pages that have AdWords campaigns referring traffic to them?

    Essentially, will inbound traffic from AdWords ads be automatically split between the original page and the experimental pages, or will they all just land on the original page?

    Every visitor starts by going to the original page, but then MaxA/B kicks in and decides whether or not to keep the user on the original page or redirect them to one of the variation pages.

    This is done by checking for a MaxA/B cookie and the value of that cookie, which correlates to which page the user should see.
