• i have to enter lat/long directly into search because there are no addresses where i need marker (rural india). when i do this, the marker is placed a few miles from actual lat/long. after browing sql, i noticed that this is due to an autocorrection being performed on the “address”, and changing lat/long to center of city.

i tried directly editing these “corrected” lat/longs to actual, which results in map entry disappearing. it would help if i knew what all the “s#:” definitions are, which are REQUIRED, and proper syntax for making my own working dbase entry.

if there is an easy fix for this, please let me know asap.

    thanks!

  • I would also really like to know how to make it pinpoint he exact longitude and latitude without the auto correct, this kind of defeats the objective.

    Otherwise a great plugin!

    Thanks Sophie

    Hi,

This feature is coming in the next MapPress version (1.4.5). The post-edit screen has been updated and you’ll now be able to use the auto-correct feature or enter a precise lat/lng.

Look for it in the next few days!
