plugin malformes URL

This plugin malforms the original url!!

Using this

echo do_shortcode( '[wp_my_instagram username="my_username" limit="12" layout="3" target="_blank" ref="https://www.instagram.com/myaccount"]');

the plugin generates the following url

https://www.instagram.co/myaccount

instead of

https://www.instagram.com/myaccount

When trying to clicking the link, the browser pops up a security warning!
