Plugin makes cart load extremely slowly after adding a product

  • We’ve been having speed issues lately and I think I narrowed it down to this plugin.

    We have Woocommerce configured so when a user selects a variation and clicks “Add to cart”, they are redirected to the cart page. Without the CSR plugin active, this process takes about 5-6 seconds until the cart is visible with the new product. However, when we activate the CSR plugin, the same process takes anywhere from 11-16 seconds. I’ve deactivated/reactivated several times and the results are consistent.

    Do you know what code within the plugin might be causing this speed issue and how we might be able to improve it? Thanks!

    The development version version should have a significant increase in speed due to the method that the virtual stock is counted. I still need to do some further testing to verify backwards compatibility with much older versions of WooCommerce.
