[Plugin: MailPress] Per post sending not working in wp 3.0.1

  • I was using MailPress 5.0 in wp 2.9.2 with the per post option on a category enabled.
    Now after upgrade to wp 3.0.1 this is not working anymore. The mailinglist and manual sending is still working okay.

    For now I will fall back to wp 2.9.2.

    Any ideas out there?

    It looks like it is not a wordpress issue.

    Tested wp 292 and 301 on a different webserver and there mailpress ‘per post’ option is working fine. I will look into it further and post an update as soon as I know more…

    UPDATE: For testing I had activated a directory password on the installation. After removing the password protection all worked fine again.

    Can you elaborate on the password issue you were having?
    My per post mails stopped some time ago, around the time I upgraded to WP3 and MP5.

    Where did you activate the password? Was it on the server? What directory?

    I’m on a windows IIS server but all of the directories should be equal to chomd 777.

    Can you elaborate on the password issue you were having?

    I had a password protection via htaccess on mydomain.com/testdir/
    The wp install was in mydomain.com/testdir/wp/
    But I am not sure yet if this was the problem.

    Some specs here:
    Website is on Apache server (linux), PHP 5.3/Mysql 5.
    Error reporting is switched off, this also gave some problems because op depracated warnings.
    Now running wp 2.9.2.

    Still have to do some testing, because I have tested it on 2 other wp installs (2.9.2.) on the same server and no problems there. So it could also be a plug-in related problem.
