[Plugin: MailChimp Widget] Adding an extra field

Yes, I’m dealing with the same issue. This plug-in would be so much more powerful if additional fields could be added. I need to be able to add a ZIPCODE and a COUNTRY.

To sign someone up for an email list, do you really need anything more than an email address?

Yes, because it’s about collecting information for marketing purposes and being able to write “hi, so-and-so” or only email alerts to people from one region in a tailored way, or being able to phone subscribers if they win a competition without having to contact them again for their number…

anyone know of a mailchimp WP widget that DOES allows the addition of other custom fields? yes i know there is a lot to be said for ONLY requiring the email field, but there are other use cases where extra info is needed. we need a postcode field on something.
