[Plugin: MailChimp List Subscribe Form] Plugin won’t retrieve mail lists on new wordpress install

  • Hi, I have three mailing lists in Mailchimp. Have just installed the Mailchimp WordPress plugin. it installs fine, it links to my account fine (at least it says its logged in)… but when I click the “update list” button, I get the –Select A List– drop down with no lists to select from. Its like I have no lists… do I need to do something else to enable my lists to be seen by this plug-in?

  • Can you post the link to the subscribe form we host for one of your lists (or your mailchimp username) so I can test against your account?

    I have exactely the same problem. Do you have a solution yet?

    Unfortunately, no. However that’s only because we haven’t been able to replicate the problem and details from folks having it have been scarce. I suspect there’s a conflict somewhere – if you could post your version of WordPress and the plugins installed, we might have some luck tracking it down.

    I had the same problem. I’m running WP 2.9.2 and the plugin I’m trying to use is MailChimp version 1.1.13. It doesn’t see my list that I want new subscribers to be added to.

    Make sure your API Key is the correct one, do not use the unique ID number… (at least that’s what I did at first)

    That was a great hint for me – the code verifying the API Key, which I assumed was working, was not. It has been updated and should be available in the next 10 – 15 minutes. Of course, just grabbing the proper api key will work as well.
