[Plugin: MailChimp List Subscribe Form] No confirmation e-mail

  • Hi Mailchimp plug-in!

    On a website I use, I’ve used your wonderful plug-in. Works like a charm! However, when people sign-up, I want them to receive an e-mail with a link to some complementary fee downloads. Some .PDF’s with explanations.

    I’ve set up the text in mail chimp in the final confirmation field, but when people sign-up, that text is displayed above the form. As a success message. And I do not get a welcome e-mail.

    Can you post the website so we can have a peek at what might be going on? Additionally, can you provide the domain for the address that you were testing with? We don’t need the whole address, just the @company.com part. ??

    And a few minutes later, the email came into our Gmail inbox, here:

    If you’re not getting those confirmation emails right away, it can take a few minutes to arrive due to a variety of issues. Here’s some more info on that:

    Additionally, it might just be that it’s stuck in the “spam” folder for one reason or another. We always recommend checking there, as well.
