• I read the info on how to add a hidden field for my sign up location… So, I added the hidden field to my list in Mail Chimp, and then added the appropriate code into the html… as this sign up list is only for a certain location/site.

I tried using embed code as suggested, onto a WP page, but it’s not the prettiest and does not retain extra line breaks I added to the html.

It was recommended I use your plug in… BUT…
how to use the plug in, so it includes that version with the hidden field?

    Any solution?

  • Hey there!

Unfortunately, at this point in time, the plugin does not support the inclusion of a pre-filled, hidden field. Your best bet would be to include the embedded form and maybe check out a third-party plugin that forces WordPress to honor the exact HTML that’s included (rather than the proprietary way of rendering it).

While I can’t necessarily troubleshoot any issues, I have seen some success with the “Raw HTML” plugin and the MailChimp embedded form:

I’ll certainly pass that feedback along regarding the hidden field, as well.

If we can help with anything else, give us a shout.

    Cheers
