• I’ve visited the MailChimp plugin site and the WordPress forum. Sidebar widget was working fine, with custom styling set in the MailChimp Setup. Suddenly, it stopped working. I’ve done extensive troubleshooting, tried it on other sites, including one that I purposely keep lean & mean. On my lean site, I also disabled all other plugins. I tried another site on which my theme is 2 versions back. Same problem in all cases. This leads me to believe that something has changed with the MailChimp Plugin that’s not playing nicely with WordPress or the Thesis theme.

    Any thoughts appreciated.

  • We put out an updated version Friday to address some issues with certain themes and in the process it looks like it broke that custom styling in some places. A new version has just been pushed out that corrects that and it should be available shortly.

    1.1.10 custom styling now works.

however, the interest section seems to be broken somewhere? see my link below for what i mean.

the interest section was left-aligned nicely in 1.1.8. see image on page.

Reinstall 1.1.10 in a little bit and that will be fixed. You won’t get notified of it because we did not change the version this time.

I just upgraded the mailchimp plugin and now the styling is incorrect. The form won’t include my header image as it did before. I have uninstalled and reinstalled but still get the same results… the header image is not included within the form.

I just tested using an image in the header on the current version using a basic image tag and it worked fine. All I can suggest is double checking that the url for the image you are using is still correct.

    I am using a standard html <img src… /> tag
The url is correct – the image shows up, it just doesn’t show up <inside> the form – the form is displaying below and separately from the image

delea – I’d have to see it to make any further changes or guesses about what’s going on.

i installed the sign up form from mailchimp but only the group title appears – there should be 3 groups with selections to choose. is there too little space or should i just upload a link to sign up? it’s not as ‘nice’ but ???

Currently the plugin only supports the first grouping for your list. If you only have one and are using a select/dropdown for its options, reinstall the current version of the plugin.
