[Plugin: MailChimp List Subscribe Form] Errors Using MailChimp Plugin With Thesis Theme

I added the MailChimp Plugin to Thesis using the Custom File Editor but I keep getting this error message:

Warning: extract() expects parameter 1 to be array, string given in C:\Program Files\xampp\xampplite\htdocs\wp-content\plugins\mailchimp\mailchimp_includes.php on line 11

In the Custom File Editor I used the following code to insert the plugin:

add_action(‘thesis_hook_before_sidebar_1′,’mc_display_widget’);

I looked at mailchimp_includes.php on line 11 but I am not a PHP guy. Any help with solving this?
