[Plugin: Magic Gallery] How to CHMOD the 'cache' and 'uploads' folder to 777

Hi;
As you can tell I am very new to all this. I understand what CHMOD stands for, and what 777 means, but no clue where the cache and upload folders are, and how to change them. Can you please help me?
