[Plugin: Login LockDown] Clear lockdown from shell backend

  • Hello,

    I recently installed Login Lockdown and cannot remember the username and password for my WP panel. I got hacked the other day so I changed my usual username and password, and prompty forgot it. On that note, I have been locked out several times now for not remembering my credentials and the forgot password link doesn’t send me anything for me to reset.

    Is there a way to clear the Lockdown through the shell so I can log into the admin panel?

  • edmar, if you delete the plugin via ftp it will disable itself, and you can always reinstall it later. Alternatively if delete the entries corresponding to your ip from wp_login_fails and wp_lockdowns it would be the same as if you had made no attempts to log in.
