    Hello,

    I love Limit login attempt plugin and use it for many of my sites. But since last year, when I logged out on any of my sites, it mentions incorrect username or password (though I put the correct one). Then I have to deactivate the plugin, and the login works fine afterward.

    I have default settings enabled. But this issue is creating lots of problem for me and my assistant.

    ERROR: Incorrect username or password.

    ERROR: Too many failed login attempts. Please try again in 23 hours.

    Kindly advise how to solve this. Thank you.

    Hi,

    Sorry I think you are asking for the following code. I collected it from another site whether the login is working at this moment.

    REMOTE_ADDR = IP0
    HTTP_X_REAL_IP = IP1
    HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR = IP1

    Most likely your server doesn’t detect the IP addresses correctly. Try to add HTTP_X_REAL_IP into the Trusted IP Origins field of the plugin settings. That should solve your problem.

    Hi. We are a premium user. About 30 minutes ago (3:45 EST), numerous customers called unable to login. I was unable to login as well as Admin. Message was “too many failed login attempts…”. Another currently logged in Admin said LLAR showed no stats. Our developer disabled from backend and things are back to normal.

    Is this a know issue? Is there a resolution?

    I added username in the safelist, so it is working fine now.

    Will try adding the code if the problem arise again.

    Good morning, I think my subscription to the premium app allows unlocking a locked admin through the cloud and I have seen the ““too many failed login attempts..” twice today. I thought I could override that from https://my.limitloginattempts.com/dashboard but cannot find a link there to override. Bob Whittredge
