[Plugin: List category posts] Widget field "Exclude Categories" doesn't do anything

I can’t see anywhere in the plugin code that actually processes what a user enters into the “Exclude Categories” field in the widget.

Bug?

There is some exclude code, but it only processes post ID’s not category ids.
