• Hi!
This plugin was -nearly- exactly what I needed. Since it was so close, I’ll let you in on the things that I felt were missing:
    – Allow selection of not only “thumbnail, medium, large, full”, but also the custom image sizes added with “add_image_size()”
    – Allow “show from all categories”, not just the specific category. Perhaps even multiple categories?

Anyways, seems like this has great potential, and I’d like to see it get even better! Keep up the good work.

    Hey thanks for your comments!

I’ll take the thumbnails size feature into consideration for a next release.

Regarding the “show from all categories” feature, you can do this by not specifying any category name or ID. Maybe I should make this clear on the docs.

    Thanks again!

    Hello

I also use your CatList plugin with most appreciative thanks too!

Here are my own suggestions for future new features :

    1. Show category(s) that particular post has been assigned to. for example I use hierarchical categories a lot and it would be nice to show which category the post is in when catlist is told to show all posts from a parent category. For example [catlist name=leisure ..] and the posts have child categories of Bowls, Swimming, Walking etc. so showing these child category names against each post listed in the UL would be great! Much more informative!

    2. Could you by default put in more classes within the HTML elements so I can add more control over the displaying of the catlist without having to mess around with templates or tags? For example in the customfields feature, it would be nice to have “lp-customfield-title” and “lp-customfield-value” classes already generated in your template.

    3. Would it be possible for you not to put the “morelink” after the UL unless there is more posts to be seen. It doesn’t look right when it shows the “more…” link after the UL list when there isn’t any more to show!

    Many Thanks indeed!

    Cheers
    Shaun
