[Plugin: Link View] Some suggestions

Hi,
I just used your plugin. It is really very good. The only worry is that I’m forced to choose between the display image or display text … And of course I would like to have the 2. And if I could choose the order image + text or text + image would be perfect ??

in the new version (0.4.0) I have included a new very powerful shortcode attribute, which allows you to insert all available link items (e.g. name, image, address, description, …). The use is a bit more complex but I have added a detailed description with some examples.
I have also added a lot of css-classes in the output-html-code. Additionally there is an option available where you can define css styles especially for this css-classes.
So all the open requests from Yoz, AceGuz and eagledancing in this thread should be working now.

Please tell me if you have problems using the new features or if you have ideas for improvement.

Thank you for this update. I must be bad, but I can not use JSON data structure.
when I put in my page code: [linkview show_cat_name = “0”] {“name”: “”, “image_l”: “”, “address_l”: “URL”} [/ linkview]
I get the error message: ? ERROR while decoding json. There must be an error in your “link_items” json syntax.
Can you help me please ?

I have tried your shortcode and if I remove the space between “/” and “linkview” in “[/ linkview]” then the given shortcode is working on my installation.

In fact I did not put any space. The error was easier. I did not put . It’s all good thank you.

By cons I can not save the image and name on the same line and the URL on a separate line below.Is that with a CSS class I could get this result which is there another solution?
