[Plugin: Link-Library 5.0.1] Adds slashes to Large Link Description when editing

  • The changelog says that this bug was fixed a few versions ago, but it is affecting me currently. Every time I edit a link it adds slashes in front of quotes and apostrophes. How can I get them to not be added? I have turned off magic quotes on my server, but am under the impression that WP adds this functionality anyways.

    No problem jack….Thanks for your plugin.

    Please try upgrading to 5.0.2. I caught the issue and I am no longer seeing the slashes on my side when I put special characters in the large description field.

    After upgrading to LL 5.0.1 the Category-Links (Shortcode) didn’t work any more. Same with 5.0.2 – Links look like this: 8″>CategoryItem

    How did you upgrade? Using the WordPress upgrade mechanism or manually uploading the new version via FTP?

    Can you try visiting the admin page and saving your settings to see if that would resolve the issue?
