Plugin like Tabbloid?

  • HP has a nice RSS-to-PDF tool that automatically sends me a PDF of new blog entries each day. See https://tabbloid.com/. Is there a WP plugin that can do the same, and that my readers (employees of a health system) can subscribe to?

  • I thought the same so developed my first WP plugin which integrates the Tabbloid service to automatically create printer friendly ‘tabloid’ editions of your WordPress blog.

    Excellent. I’ll test this tonight.

    One difference I’d like, though, is to be able to brand my PDF appropriate to my blog, so rather than Today’s Tabbloid being the header, I’d rather have Inside Online Today. I guess this means cobbling a plugin that doesn’t use Tabbloid, right, since HP doesn’t give us a way to change the header, that I can see.

    I have a question for wordpress plugin ‘Make Tabbloid’.
    I install this plugin in my blog and activate it, but the error message like the followings is given and I failed activation.
    “Fatal error: Cannot redeclare maketabbloid() (previously declared in … plugins/make-tabbloid/make-tabbloid.php:126)…”

    How can I solve this problem.
    Please help me.

    Sorry for replying to an old post, but if anyone else is interested in creating a Tabbloid-like PDF from their blog content, I have been working on a free software (open source) alternative: RSS to PDF Newspaper.

    The output is based on the Tabbloid format, but the main difference is that it’s free software so you can download it and modify it however you like. Which also means you can host it yourself, or create a plugin that uses the code without relying on a third party.

    Excellent, keyvan. Will check it out.

    I found another one which renders quite nicely and it’s from Germany (my home country). So if you want a German service, this is the one. It looks better than Tabbloid as far as I am concerned.

    I did not find the plugin in the directory but you can get it from https://www.news2paper.com
