• This is getting so frustrating, I don’t know what to do.

I just realized the other day that my lightbox plugin (wp-prettyphoto) wasn’t working. After trying different things, I decided to remove it and then re-install it only to find it was no longer available. So since then I’ve installed about a dozen of them, but none of them work consistently. They work on some images, but not others.

Right now I’m using Lightbox Plus which seems like it will do most of the job that prettyphoto did (no view image full size option), but as with the others, it works sporadically. I’ve been working on this for almost a day and can’t get it figured out! Please help!!!

  • Both seem to be working fine for me (assuming you are talking about the movie posters).

Try refreshing your cache (F5 or Ctrl+F5) and empty any cache on your website and server.

Thanks, I accidently posted in the wrong forum and posted again in the plugin one. Someone responded saying “Lightboxing works with links to images. Your second post links to an attachment-post.”. As I said in that thread, I don’t know how that happened. The images were uploaded the same way and attached the same way. I don’t understand why wp decided to implement them differently.

It is fixed for now and I know how to fix it now. One of the other problems I was having is it also isn’t working with gallerys. I thought maybe it would be the same fix, but I suspect not now. Any ideas on that?

Nevermind, got the gallery thing figured out too. Just had to read the FAQ for the plugin.
