[Plugin: Lightbox Gallery] How to disable next/prev button animations?

I like the Lightbox Gallery plugin very much. I use the Lightbox style and like the look a lot, the only thing that really annoys me is the prev/next button animation. Have a look at https://www.lichtgezaubert.de/2012/07/fotoausflug-zum-augsburger-zoo/ to see what I mean. Just click on one of the images. Is it possible to switch the animation off without disabling the “show buttons on hover” behavior? I looked at the Javascript code, but I don’t know Javascript nor JQuery and could not find a way to do this. Thanks for yor help,
