Trying to change the size of the popup image, I changed the size of the medium image in my media settings to 500, then set the lightbox option to ‘medium’, but it’s not reading it.

    Anyone else?

got the same problem – after activating the plugin all the images in gallery are linked to the thumbnail instead of the original images themselves

    Similar problem.
I don’t think the plugin reads the image size from the media settings. You can set default ightbox sizes to thumbnail, medium, large and full. But I think these are fixed [not controlled by wordpress media settings].

Unfortunately the medium size is too small; barely bigger than the thumbnail, and the large size is too large; flowing off the page on my laaptop screen. I’m not sure if it’s possible to change these default sizes by aditing any of the plugin’s files? Ideally I’d like the ‘medium’ to be about 600px wide.

I would like this resolved as well, until then, I am going to disable it and try something else.

Agree! The ‘medium’ is to small and the ‘large’ is too big.
And as marcr says 600 would be perfect.

    agree

    +1

No effect using the medium setting. It seems as if “large” on the plugin settings page shows the images in the original (1:1) size.

It would be nice if the plugin would REALLY use the settings made in the mediathek for the image sizes from thumbnail to large.

    thanks reklam

I am having the same problem; this feels like it should be an awesome plugin, but if I can’t find a solution to this then I can’t use it..

After wasting too much time with this issue, I switched plugins to “lightbox plus” which works exactly as I want it to.
