  • Ok I’ll keep that in mind. ?? Thanks for using it. And some extra info, the xml feed only shows 10 items so it can’t exceed the number 10, but it can show between 1-10 ?? Thanks again.

    Well. The new version is released with some changes. Your request is added too ?? You can read the changes in the plugin’s page.

    Wow, you’re quick. I figured that you wouldn’t be able to go beyond Last’s xml limit. Cool man. I love it.

    I don’t know what the problem is but the images show at full size now, even when I try to edit the style. I’ve got as specific as I can and as broad as I can and nothing changes. I’m not sure what the problem is: https://thegoodmanblog.com/joel/

    did you tried to add !important to width and height css?

    Okay. I’m not sure what the problem is. I ended up just pasting the code from your CSS into my template stylesheet and it worked. I thought perhaps it could be the php reference to the stylesheet was looking in the lastfm-RPS folder – the caps on RPS could confuse unix servers since the unzipped folder is lastfm-rps. That was just a thought.

    Still not sure what the deal is though. I’ll have to keep poking around.

    ok I’m changing it all to lowercase. Thanks for the tip. Maybe that’s the reason.

    no. thats not the reason. I wrote my script to get the css from lastfm_RPS but this site is converting the main folder to lastfm-rps. I’ll update the code. this was my inattention. I’m updating it… Updated. You can download the new version.

    Yeah! That did it. Awesome. Thanks so much. I’m going to do a write-up on the plugin on my blog; I’ll be sure to trackback to your site. Thanks again!

    thank you for your interest in this plugin ?? I appreciate it.

    tpaksu: The plugin crashes if you play a song with non-western letters in the name. For instance a song with a japanese artist. Would it be possible for you to fix this? Great plugin anyway ??

    MIGHT not be a problem with the script, I suggest you try it yourself since I seem to be having some problem with my web host;

    <b>Warning</b>: file_get_contents(https://ws.audioscrobbler.com/1.0/album/Foo+Fighters/Echoes%2C+Silence%2C+Patience+%26+Grace/info.xml) [<a href='function.file-get-contents'>function.file-get-contents</a>]: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.0 404 Not Found

    Problem solved I think, you get that strange error when your mp3s for instance have the wrong album name not recognized by last.fm

    EDIT: But I think you should add a fail-safe of some kind so that 1 track doesn’t “break” the entire plugin if it has the wrong album title.

    This is fixed in later versions ?? But why didn’t you open a new subject linked to this plugin? I didn’t recognize that you write here. Can you give me the name of the artist you tried to scrobble?

    The problem was that the album was tagged with the wrong title which caused an error message that “broke” the whole plugin (no album image for that track, no text for the previously scrobbled tracks).

    If you want an artist with japanese characters in the name, take this link for instance: https://www.last.fm/music/%E6%B2%B3%E8%BE%BA%E5%8D%83%E6%81%B5%E5%AD%90

    The newest version works perfectly. No problem with missing album images crashing the plugin and japanese characters are displayed properly.
