[Plugin: JW Player Plugin for WordPress] JW Player Plugin for WordPress not working.

I found out the problem, apparently the plugin installer was picking up version 1.0 instead of 1.1.

I manually updated to 1.1 and the problem is gone.

Yeah, there appears to be an issue with WordPress picking up my more recent versions. As far as I can tell the Readme is configured correctly, but I’ll have to investigate further.

Same problem here (sort of). Seems to be looking the player on the wrong path.

The player.swf cannot be found at /Users/XXXXX/Sites/https://localXXXX/XXXXX/wp-content/plugins/jw-player-plugin-for-wordpress/player.swf. The plugin will not work!

As you see, I am testing it locally (PHP5-Apache2.0). The player is working on the front-end at: https://localXXXX/XXXXX/wp-content/plugins/jw-player-plugin-for-wordpress/player.swf

Upgraded to 1.1.1. Same error but it’s pulling a different location now, just not the correct one!

The player.swf cannot be found at /kunden/homepages/xx/xxxxxxxx/htdocs/passionbeer/https://www.passionbeer.com/wp-content/plugins/jw-player-plugin-for-wordpress/player.swf. The plugin will not work!

As you can see here, my player.swf is there:

Do you guys think you could provide me with the absolute path to your player.swf? It might be helpful to determine what is different about your Linux setup versus mine.

I have installed the plugin and can not get the videos to actually show up. I am not getting any error message. I thought I may have had the old player so I downloaded the latest one and uploaded it and it is still not working. Here is the link to the page:

You will see a video on it use the “flash video plugin” but the jwplugin wont come up.

btw: I have both tags on this page. The jwplayer and the normal flash player. Even when the normal flash player is not there and is deactivated it still wont come up
