Hi, could you find any answer?, I’m behind the same problem.. I want to hide the screen when it’s an audio file. It showld show the control bar and the playlist, NOT the video container.

Looking at the embed code I believe this is a configuration issue.

The issue here is that you have set the playlist position to be over. I believe setting it to “bottom” will give you the behavior that you’re looking for. You may need to tweak the player dimensions and the playlist size but that should do the trick for you.

Also I noticed that the skin you selected is not loading correctly. Could you take a look in the wp-content/plugins/jw-player-plugin-for-wordpress/skins directory and tell me what you see?

Have you tried decreasing the player height? Using the default controlbar, setting the height to 24 will hide the video display area and only show the controlbar.
