[Plugin: JW Player for WordPress – Flash & HTML5 Video Player] Videos Not Loading Between Brow

  • So I have a very frustrating issue…

    I have some paid user content in videos. I am attempting to move to this plugin as Viper’s Video Quicktags does not play videos in Firefox 8.0+

    Here is what has happened (I can’t exactly share links as the content is locked down without a login)

    I have 7 pages with multiple videos on each page.
    Page 1 – All videos play fine in Chrome, and FF. 1 video says it cannot access or does not have permission in IE (this 1 video works fine in Chrome and FF)
    Page 2 – All videos play fine in Chrome and IE, 1 of of 6 play in FF (no error thrown, it brings up the loading circle but never loads the video)

    That is as far as I got before I stopped because I can see no patter to why this is happening. I have set permissions on all files to 777, no luck. I have ensured that my MIME mapping is correct for mp4 videos (all videos are MP4), no change. I have changed the file names as some had spaces, no luck…

    At this point I can see no discernible pattern in what videos work, and what ones don’t… Any help would be GREATLY appreciated

    It sounds like you’ve been thorough in your investigation. It sounds like everything should be working fine. Unfortunately, there’s not much I can suggest without actually seeing your implementation.
