[Plugin: Jquery Validation For Contact Form 7] Validate Visible Fields Only

I have some hidden fields that are shown only based on the user’s choices when filling out the form (using radio buttons). I would like to make some of these hidden fields required but obviously only when they are visible. That’s slightly beyond my learning curve and was wondering if anyone has done this and whether they can point me in the right direction.

I’m pretty sure I need to use the :visible selector I’m just not sure what the rest of the script should be :-/. Pardon my ignorance when it comes to javascript and jquery.
