• I just activated the plugin ok but when I click on the image a colorbox doesn’t open. I enabled the checkbox “Automate jQuery Colorbox for images in WordPress galleries:” I then upload my image using WP Media Library (which I don’t like…I rather hard code the <img> tag) then inserted my image into my page (not a post). But when I click on the image it just opens a new page with the image.

I read the FAQ on Techotronic’s website re: “Make sure that your theme uses the wp_head(); function in the HTML head-tag” which it seems my theme (iThemes-Builder) does. And I read over some forum posts and I’m not at the WP technical level as the posters so I’m not following along too well.

My needs aren’t extensive…I don’t have a gallery of photos just one for now, but I just like the visual effect of lightboxes. The page where I have the image is https://sacforeclosurehelp.com/test-builder/california-foreclosure-timeline/ and I appreciate any help.

    Thank you

    Hi,
I just took a look at your website.
Everything looks fine so far, but the CSS class is not added to the image…

Let me confirm: which “auto add” option did you select? The one that says “automate for all images” or the one that says “automate for images in galleries”?

If you selected the second, then the plugin won’t work automatically for the image you uploaded because it is not part of a gallery.

    Cheers,
    Arne
