• I am using a few different page templates in my site. I am using one specifically for the job manager pages. I’ve got the job listing page all set up to use that template but I can’t seem to find an option anywhere to set or change the page template for the individual jobs page(s).

Am I daft or there actually no built in functionality to do this?

If there is some kind of hack to get this done, I am quite OK with doing it that way. I would just like to be pointed in the right direction.

    Thank you!!

As an alternative I have found a snippet of code that makes all posts of a certain wordpress category use a specific template, so if there is a way to automatically put a category on all jobs, that would work just as well.

Is there anybody here who can help me with this? I’m still kind of stuck. The only work around I’ve figured out is to change the default template of my site and then change all of the other pages on my site to the (previous) default template.

It’s a really nasty sounding hack that I would prefer not to have to do for something seemingly so simple.

    HELP!! (please)

It’s supposed to use the template assigned to the Jobs Listing page, I’m not sure why that wouldn’t be happening.

It will fall back to using a template called job.php, if you create that instead.

Thank you Gary! I will add a copy of my job listing page template and call it job.php and let you know how it goes!

No luck yet benjazz. Still waiting on some helpful soul to give me a hand.

having the same issue. No matter whether the job listing page is set to sidebar or full page the individual job page is is default to sidebar activated. It will not change no matter what I do. Any updates on how to change that default?

    Example: https://www.campcarsonemployment.org/jobs/teen-director/

Sidebar is attached..even if I disable the sidebar it stays the same width constantly.
